The Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society is making preparations for our next meeting: Midwestern Vascular 2010, to be held September 9-11, 2010 at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown in Indianapolis, Indiana.
As you know, each year at our Society meeting, attendance is consistently excellent and we are fortunate to have some of the leading vascular surgeons representing some of the largest institutions in the country participate. We anticipate over 150 members and guest physicians to partake in the Annual Meeting and review of the exhibits. Further, the Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society invites vascular nurses, technicians, physician assistants, and vascular fellows in training to attend the annual meeting.
The Society will continue to integrate the New Horizons in Vascular Surgery course with the main meeting, and will continue this format of broad coverage of both open and endovascular topics throughout the meeting. The New Horizons in Vascular Surgery Committee has finalized an excellent program which may be found on the Annual Meeting page of our website.. This program offers a wide range of interesting topics. The main Preliminary Scientific program including the abstracts selected for presentation will be available in June.
The Exhibitor Prospectus and Application to Exhibit will be mailed in May. The fee for exhibiting will be $3,000 for a table-top display. To show our appreciation to the exhibitors, the exhibit fee will include registration for three (3) company representatives to attend the meeting and all of the ancillary functions, which is an increase from previous years.
This year, the Society has changed the format for the Exhibits in attempts to enhance participants visiting and interacting with exhibitors. The exhibits will open at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 9th and remain open through Friday evening September 10th. Teardown will begin at 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 10th through Saturday, September 11th for those company representatives that require additional time. Attendees have the opportunity to visit your company’s exhibit during prime exhibit hours including the morning and afternoon sessions of the annual meeting. A historically enjoyable evening includes the Welcome Reception in the Exhibit Hall on Thursday, September 9th, at which time meeting attendees and company representatives can interact in a more social and relaxed atmosphere. Additionally, we encourage all company representatives to attend the Friday evening special event that will be announced soon.
Corporate Sponsorships: If your Company has participated as a Gold or Silver Sponsor at past Society meetings, you will again have the opportunity to participate in this year’s meeting as a Gold or Silver Sponsor. These sponsorships, in the form of Educational Grants of $7500 or $5000 (in addition to the exhibit fees) will be rewarded by special recognition during the meeting. Participation as a Corporate Sponsor will provide many benefits for added exposure and marketing opportunities during the meeting, Companies who have not participated as Corporate Sponsors in the past are welcome to participate in this support of our annual meeting.
We hope that this year your company will consider participating at the Gold or Silver Level. Space is very limited. Therefore, your early response will enable to accommodate your participation. Exhibits and Sponsorship payments are made out to the Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society. To obtain the Society’s Tax ID, please contact the Society's Administrative Offices.
Thank you for your consideration and support of the Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society and its educational programs to enhance patient care. We look forward to working with you in the near future and welcoming you to Indianapolis for an exciting and enjoyable meeting.
